For the xbox 360 how many assignments you u need to complete with Garrus and Ashley to get the ally achievements becuase i have about every one which has equal up t0 42 assisgnments. And For the complete the game achievement, i have done all the side missions (assisgments) execept finding escaped finding the gases, slarian artifacts etc. do I need to complete those also to get the compltionest achievement?? achievement question (mass effect)
For the allies achievements you just have to have them in your party for the majority of the game. If you set your party at the citadel and keep your party the same throughout the entire game you'll get these achievements. These are the automatic achievements I think. I got them in my first playthrough and I didn't nearly cover as much as I did in my second or third playthroughs. achievement question (mass effect)
i think you should get those if you do most of the stuff. i did, however, i did not get the ally ones, which i was wondering about. to get all six (i think there is one per ally) do you have to do every mission, main and side? or, can we just play through the game, using the same allys and do only the main missions?
I've got this same problem. I got the achievement for having completed most of the game, so I know I've done enough of the assignments and I've been using the same two characters the whole time but I still haven't gotten the ally achievements. Kind of ticks me off...
i know what you mean. honestly, i thought it would give me the award based on whatever ally i used the most. what i mean is i didnt think i had to use one ally ALL the time. thats dumb. i thought, say, if i used the human 60% and the rest less than that, i would get the human and one other one, considering theres two slots.
you have to do 75 percent of the game with that ally in your party, ive already got ashley, kaidan, garrus an wrex in 2 playthroughts, but the one for liara will be hard because you get her a bit later in the game, by the way i got kaidans and wrex before virmire so keep searching for sidequest

No, you don't have to beat the game. As soon as you complete the quest that puts you over 75% for that particular character, you'll get the achievement.
Each ally (except Kaiden and Ashely) have a different amount of main quests that must be completed with them in your party. However the side quests are different, you have to do like 85% of the side quests with that ally in your party. The ally achievement descriptions are very misleading. There are some easy to miss side quests on a couple of the main quest planets. Im sorry Im drawing a blank for the planet names right now. The first is the ice planet you fight Benezia on. There's got a to be at least a half a dozen different side quests to do in the office part of the planet. I know there's 3 different ways to get the garage pass, Each way is its own quest, you just gotta be smart about how you go about accepting the reward. Then on the planet you meet the Thorian for the first time, there's another half a dozen side quests you get from the colonists before you move on to the exo-geni building. After you do the main three quest planets some new star systems pop up for you to explore, have you gone to them? Have you done the quest for your prestige class? Garius gives you a quest if you talk to him enough on the Normandy, I think you have to do that quest in order to get his achievement. When you come across the planet that has Wrex's family armor on it, just substitute Ashely out for Wrex and have Garius along with you.If your going to go for the Asari achievement, first of all DO NOT do any side-quests on the citadel at the beginning of the game. Just follow the main quest line, up until you can leave the station. Then head directly for her planet, once you rescue her, then you can go back and do the citadel side quests.
