two and a half years

After having my xbox 360 pro for two and a half years, this afternoon i finally got the rrod. i guess i can't complain since it lasted this long. i've always wanted an excuse to buy a new xbox 360 elite and now i finally have one. i'm pretty sure i'm going to get it. are there any perks to buying one besides the 120gb hard drive? Another thing is i'm debating about two different games to get: call of duty 4 or ng 2?two and a half years
i beleave there is a hdmi port in the newer ones thats about it beside the hard drive. two and a half years
i got rrod after 1 year. got it fixed in 10 days. cod4 is a sweet game. a must have

I'm with you on the 2.5 years. I got the RROD a few weeks ago and all i did was turn it off and then back on and it worked fine. Then it did it 3 times in a row back to back and wouldnt turn on anymore. I had a little cry and began unhooking it to get it ready to ship away. Then i remembered what the techs at Microsoft said about unhooking and re-hooking everything. So i plugged all my crap back in and poof. My xbox has magically started working again and i havent RROD since.(over 1 month ago). Give it a try if you haven't.
