If you can't connect to the internet, it has nothing to do with your account. So I got rid of LIVE and now I cant do a ...
You can chat, download, update, etc, with XBL Silver. If you can't connect its probably something wrong with your connection right now

my pc works all the time but sometimes my xbox connection cuts in and out ever once in a while.
That has nothing to do with it. You should still be able to download and all that.Just not play online and such.

Sounds like u got rid of your internet connection rather than LIVE.
Sounds like u got rid of your internet connection rather than LIVE.
as he already stated....how is he in the forums on his pc if its his internet????? this happend to me during a power outage. the next 5 days i couldnt get live to come up so i just gave up and checked to see if it was working every so often. you might just want to buy a 3 month silver card and see if that works, if not then your short 30 bucks.

your modem must not recognize your 360's IP address, do the connection test and see where it craps out
Maybe the problem is with the router that you're using.
not having gold has nothing to do with being on the internet...
