so, its been a recent trend in movies to be made as trilogies. a lot of games are doing this recently, being made as three planned trilogies, excluding the sequel planned later - im talking about 3 planned games. now it seems bioshock is getting bioshock 3 in addition to bioshock 2. what do you think about this?personally im torn in two ways.http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/bioshock/news.html?sid=6192149bioshock as a trilogy? any thoughts?
If the next two games are more/as fun and engaging as the first then i can't wait. bioshock as a trilogy? any thoughts?
Should be good, I'll definetely get any sequals and/or anything to do with Bioshock.
Sequels don't bother me in the least, but developers need to make sure every game is able to be enjoyed on its own. Series like Metal Gear do this very well, on the other hand games like Halo and Gears are frustrating because the end simply sets up the next edition and there is no closure.
Guillermo del Toro is making the movie too
Guillermo del Toro is making the movie too
if he is, then be prepared for creatures with eyes in weird places.
Guillermo del Toro is making the movie too
This guys got a lot on his plate. He doing this, Hellboy 2, and he directing the Hobbit move, which i said to be in 2 parts.
A triology?? The first Bioshock was such an impressive masterpiece that I can't even imagine what they will do for the encore, let alone a three-peat performance!! Fantastic game. I can't wait to play Bioshock2.
i think it could work, who knows... it will probably be quite awhile before we see bioshock 2 and i wouldn't be surprised if bioshock 3 didn't come out until the next-gen systems...if it even happens
maybe bioshock doesn't have to be bound to rapture. i wonder if they could expand it to other places. where else do you think bioshock could take place?
well, i think bioshock 2 is slated for a mid-year 2009 release so im quite excited. its so close. i dont know what they will do. of course, there is a lot of rapture we havent seen yet so im not worried about that. in fact, im quite excited. what worries me is the whole story arc. how will they further the story, esp. with the two main characters, andrew ryan and ''atlas'' dead? i dont think id like it as much if it didnt take place in rapture. thats what initially drew me to the game guillermo del toro is directing the movie? i thought it was the pirates of the caribbean guy
If they can live up to the standards of the first ones I'll be happy.but i find sequels to a good games really disappointing.
I believe BioShock 2 is a prequel.
