ok iam going to finally stop playing my nba 2k8 and other bball games what i need to know is what is a good fps shooting game i should get on the 360 and the game also have to have a deep online play.what is the best fps shooting....

first of all :| have u been living under a rock? geese shooting games on the 360 Gears (third person), Halo 3, CoD series, R6 vegas. shadowrun, ummm i know im missing a few but they are all amazing titles
The best rated and selling shooter on the 360 would be Call of Duty 4. I would recommend all of the ones listed up top other than shadowrun.
for deep online multiplayer cod4 has to be it. halo isnt bad either i guess..
These are the two big dogs on live right now COD4 vs Halo 3 COD4Pros: Realism, realistic settings and colors, graphics, and number of shots it takes to die or kill someone. (may or may not be a pro for you) Lots of online game options, arguably a ''deep'' online experience. It's #1 on live for a reason. Good (and challenging on the tougher difficulties) single player campaign. Class customization for online play.Cons: No co-op single player. Playing with friends on the same TV is lackluster (you can't customize your classes). Can't get online with more than one person at a time playing. Can be frustrating when you start online, you will die a lot, I mean a whole lot.Halo3Pros: It's more ''game'' looking with bright colors and less realistic locations. It takes a lot to kill another player usually (may not be a pro for you). Lots of online game options with a very large crowd of players. Good single player campaign that you can also co-op with another player online or on the same tv. You can also have 4 players on your xbox and take them all online with you.Cons: Honestly I can't think of any real strong cons. Others probably can though. I prefer COD4 for the realism. It's just a lot more fun for me but I have played Halo online some and it's solid as well. There's also Orange Box but I don't know much about that game.

The only one I can really recommend at the moment would be COD4. It's better than Halo 3, at least.

Halo 3 and CoD 4Those are the two best FPS games out there.I personally prefer Halo 3 though .. but the Halo 3 community is worse than the CoD communtiy, which is actually fairly alright.. (Too many little kids playing Halo 3 online...and worse using MICS!!!). Thank god for the Mute button!

Well it completely depends on what your into:If you want a fast pace, jumping about, vehicle filled, alien shooting game then i guess a game like Halo 3 would suit you. Its also great with friends online.If you want a more serious shooter you should get a military shooter like Call Of Duty 4 - Pretty much everyone and their dads are playing this game =DShadowruns also a pretty good game to play... I played it a bit and wasnt really into it but you might. Download the demo off the marketplace and check it out if you want.Thats my opinion. Hope it helps
cod4 nd halo had the best online halo is the most fun with frinedscod4 is fast paste game to dont buy it thinking you be doing team work unless you get a clan and go gamebattles just buy both
I would have to say Halo 3 and cod4... both games are pretty rad. I finally just purchased my own copy of cod4 so I will definately be playing that a lot more. A lot of people bash both games but I think they are pretty shibby. Good times.
i am an FPS-man myself. 90% of my collection are FPSs. yes, COD and Halo are staples for FPSs, but i LOVE the R6 Vegas games. Vegas 2 is amazing, IMO. i've also been playing Frontlines: Fuel of War and Prey (which reminds me a LOT of Half Life). i'd reccommend any of those.

if you want to play with the big dawgs go COD4 its fast furious weapons are SWEEET and the variety maps kick some arse over halo 3, but if you want a dumbed down shooter that is designed for people easily amused by jumping into odd places and shooting people when they dont see it coming get halo... or if you are truly into a great deal orange box has some of the best single player action with half life 2 games and unique multiplayer with team fortress. i do like team fortress but it is more strategic than halo or cod4 so be prepared there.
