Something seriousely long with GTA

This is my story.At launch I had 2 GTA copies (one from gamefly, and one my brother bought). I enjoyed the game for about a month until the game began freezing on both copies of the disk. Then it got to the point where I could not get out of the initial load screen so I could not play. I cleaned the disks. Didn't work. I took off the hard drive, didn't work. I played other games which worked fine. So I decided to send my gamefly one back in exchange for another. Bingo I got past the initial load screen. However, within 20 minutes I heard the ''scratch'' noice 11 times (i counted) I went into MP and they went away and I played for a few hours without inicident. Then today I wanted to try SP, and the game froze on me 3 times within 5 minutes (not crashed it went back to normal) but still. So evidently my 306 messed up my third GTA disc. Now, I would say its my 360 but I have played hours of Halo 3 and Viking without incident. It only messes up GTA. I heard that because the city is so big and there is no loading it causes the 360 to hitch up and scratch the disc. Anyone have any suggestions?Something seriousely long with GTA

i noticed it never freezes for me when i play online but it will in single playerits also freezing more oftenidk its strange
Try clearing the HD cache. Maybe there's some bad loadfiles for GTA in there.
well when you played Viking it probably destroyed the sytem out of pure sukiness of a game, but other than that it sounds like the 306's problem

the poster mis spelt '360' as '306' and everyone on these boards like to devour anyone who has a typo so we were just poking fun at what a 306 is.
