Should I buy a refurbished 360?

They sell refurbished 360's at gamestop for 219.99. This is more than 100 dollars cheaper than a normal 360, but I'm worried since it's refurbished. Do they have any warranty besides the 30 day one? I'm going to give them a call but want people to reassure me if I should do this.Should I buy a refurbished 360?
No. Should I buy a refurbished 360?
I don't really know what KC meant by a simple ''no'', but I think he means the warranty, which I don't think is the 3 years, but I'm pretty sure it is still one year. It's up to you, my buddy bought a refurb about a year and half ago (from gamestop) and I bought a new one. Fast forward to present day, he had a mild disc tray issue within the first 90 days and gamestop gave him another refurb, otherwise he's had no problems. I've had TWO systems RRoD on me and my third system has this wierd grinding sound coming from the tray. The only thing buying new bought me was a longer period of having to wait for my ''newest'' refurb system.

I just bought a refurbished 360, but not from Gamestop. Companies like Square Trade and N.E.W. offer warranties for a good price (around 20 bucks or so for a year, 30 bucks for two years) on all kinds of electronics, refurbished systems included.
You get what you pay for. Remember those words. Buyer beware. Sure, it's 219.99 for an Xbox 360 but who knows where it's been and how much it went through with previous owners and manufacturers. Hell, I'm pretty sure it already had RROD once, or more than that. Do you really want to pay $219.99 for a junky machine like that? I wouldnt. If it was used Xbox 360 with a good clean history, then sure. Pay $60-100 more and have a peace of mind and a new Xbox 360. Opportunity cost, is it really worth it if that 360 broke down? And it's value is incomparable to a new console.
Well I just called gamestop and they said it comes with the 3 year warranty that microsoft does for new ones. So i'm going to get it.
