repetiveness of Assassins Creed

I am only through the third assassination but does the gameplay change much besides whats already going on?repetiveness of Assassins Creed
nope it pretty much keeps the same.... sadlyrepetiveness of Assassins Creed
it seems like all you do is go to the view point, save a few citizens, do some investigating and assassinate and then is repeated for the next target no change between missions.

Well it seems to work otherwise it wouldn't have done so well, yes?If there are plans to bring a sequel into the picture, they should probably take heed on this :)
Im not saying its a horrible game but me personally Im starting to get a little bored
Im not saying its a horrible game but me personally Im starting to get a little bored
Agreed. Ended up returning it to gamefly the other day.
The assassinations dont really change much, but at the end it gets a bit more interesting as the story draws to a close.
By what stretch do you say Assassin's Creed did well? Monetarily, perhaps. But in the gaming community, AC is a supermodel: good looks and no substance.
ok dude it can get repetitive, but give it a shot and at least finish it, when i beated it i left for like 2 months and then finish it again, try to have some fun with it while it lasts
I rented it so Im just going to play it out til I have to take it back and not get it again
A lot of the investigations you do give you intel on the best and most effiecient way to assassinate your target. It gives you paths, locations of guards, any possible threats as well as a background history on your target. I thought that was a good touch to make things more fluid and realistic.

AC has a good story if you actually listen to it and read all those intels so to say it's repetitive and put it down like that is really a loss on your part man. It's one of those games that take time to build up and just so you know the ending is unreal.

gonna have to agree with you on that one.
Repetetive, but still awesome

gonna have to agree with you on that one. '' QuoteThat's exactly how I played it and I got a lot of entertainment out of it. That's honestly how the game was meant to be played and if you don't do it that way, you're missing out on a lot and most likely you won't like the game. It's open world but with a linear story.
The actions themselves stay the same (pickpocket, viewpoints, save citizens, informant, beat up random guy), but with each memory it becomes increasingly harder. The game starts throwing more beggars at you to throw you off, or crazy/drunk guys that knock you into guards right as you ar about to pick someones pocket. The guards also get a lot smarter, so the whole counter-attack, counter-attack, counter-attack routine doesn't work as well. Not to mention that it is easy to get swarmed by guards very quickly.I guess this was billed as an action/adventure game, but I would put it more in the ''puzzle'' category.
Yes the game does get repetitive, but it is the storyline and the enviroment that drove me right into loving this game. The features of the game are incredible and the story really should be enough to make you want to continue to beat it. There is so much to explore and the landscape is beautiful. In my opinion is was one of the best games of last year. Though some of the fighting does get repetitve and saving of the citizens and so forth. I'm sure if they make a squel they will add stuff to it.
It's pretty much that same thing the whole time.
yea i bought it the other day for 24 dollars i think its a great game for that price. as far as the gameplay i wish they had u do more.
